If traveling a distance, consider purchasing some of these supplies when arriving. If you can communicate with your roommate prior to arrival, it may not be necessary to duplicate all of the appliances. There may also be microwaves, refrigerators and televisions available for communal use in the dorm. Keep in mind these are merely suggestions.

Clothes: Consider the seasons and little storage space

    • Thermal paper cups, paper towels or napkins
  • Linens:
    • Towels (2 sets with bath, hand and wash cloth)

    • Bedspread (talk to roommate if considering matching)
