Sickness: Clues and Options

It will not be uncommon to pick up a virus, with cold and flu-like symptoms. Usually, this can be managed with a common sense approach and some over the counter remedies. (see College Student’s Medicine Cabinet). There are some situations, however when it will be best to seek the advice of a health care professional. Call or make an appointment with the Student Health Center to discuss your symptoms. Be sure to tell them if you have a history of any significant medical problems or medicine allergies. They will then provide the necessary care or advice. For all medical emergencies, dial 911.
